MyNewsdesk and Sveriges Annonsörer arrange a seminar about trademark-PR and content marketing.

The seminar was focused on how communicators can raise the value of their PR-work, save time and be more cost efficient.

Sveriges Annonsörer has been using Mynewsdesk for several years for their PR-communication. During 2009 the collaboration was expanded. MyNewsdesk is now the press partners to the organization and is making the PR-communication more effective at Sveriges Annonsörer’s websites. Education is offered within modern PR-work for Sveriges Annonsörer’s members. The members have a need to synchronize their PR- and other marketing activities as well as making it more efficient. This takes place at workshops or seminars just like this seminar today, at Södra Teatern in Stockholm.

The participants are going to meet MyNewsdesk Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Bean and Sweden’s Sales Director Pär Lagerström. With an international, as well as a Swedish perspective on PR-work, we give practical tips for how the communicator can handle the everyday life-challenges that occurs. Challenges just like trying to make time and budget match with a growing area of responsibility and make both ends meet for the most efficient result.  We show you how to smoothly combine the traditional press release and distribution with more modern ways to reach your target group. With MyNewsdesk as a starting point we go through how to make publishing, updates and coverage easier to achieve on modern content platforms like Youtube, Flickr and Slideshare.
Sveriges Annonsörer is an interest organization that was created in 1924. The organization is owned by its 500 members. The goal is to give the advertisers an opportunity to reach the best possible return on the company’s investments in marketing communication.

Questions that were addressed revolved around SEO PR, search engine-optimization of press information and news in order to reach journalists, bloggers and the target group instantly at Google. We bring up the subject content marketing, how to create exposure for the material and reach a larger target group and more specialized media by using different types of information such as pictures and videos. It was also demonstrated how easy it is to make news material visible on social media platforms such as Flickr, Youtube, Wordpress blog or Slideshare.
